Well attending a seminar enlightened me about ERP and essentials of ERP .The seminar focussed only on positives of ERP but there are lot of challenges in implementing ERP.Well one should understood that ERP is not a complete product rather it is a semifinished product that tries to automate both internal and external information systems.Previously ERP was used to integrate only basic functions in an enterprise but know it has increased to newer level were ERP is integrated with suppliers/vendors and also customers if  possible.
