How safe is India for Indians?


This was the topic before some months back then I would have said quiet happily yes it is safe and best place to live in.But now when somebody asks me this question I think twice before saying  yes because conditions have drastically changed .It is not the same India where I lived in.It has changed completely be it economically, socially or politically.There are some underline factors which has made India unsafe
Scam India 

    Corruption:-Everywhere in India there is lot of corruption.Be it bureaucracy,office work or politicians do it.The no of scams that have occurred in last few years have really led down and have caused serious threat to our economy.Be it Tehelka scam,2G scam,Taj Corridor Scam,Satyam scam or Commonwealth scam.These scams have ruined the growth of our country very badly.

      Legal laws:-The legal laws are not so strict and right punishment is never given to criminals.The legal system is having that kind of structure where criminal ajmal aamir kasab took nearly 3 years to prosecute him.The accused has got so many options that he can plead mercy take his case from sessions to high court to supreme court and even write a letter to president.This kind of right we give to our criminals and ironically there is no capital  punishment for rapists also.

    Women Safety:-Well I strongly believe that a society/place is secured only when if it is able to protect women.The Delhi Gangrape incident and atrocities against women in our society has made the place unsafe.Statistics shows that in every 8 minutes a woman is raped in some place / remote corner in India.Sadly some sections of our politicians justify the act of crime.


     Equality:-Consitution says that Indians will have equality in all spheres in life workplaces etc.But the quota system denies equality.We have womens quota in exams,SC/ST Quota,OBC quota.Reservation in public exams,college seats,public sector establishments .More recently where parliament has passed quota in promotion which is utter stupidity.This will casue more divide in society and lead to unrest . We have equality mentioned but not followed .

      Economy:-Economically we claim that we are young,progressive nation.India’s economy is growing in terms of GDP but the development is in pinch of common man’s pocket.Fuel prices are sky rocking,inflation on its high,high interest rates /loan rates, corruption and we have whole new system of taxes(professional tax,VAT,entertainment tax etc etc).It has become really tough for a common man to stay.

Adding fuel to fire there are so called elected representative who time to time make derogatory,controversial and lamenting statements which is disappointing. India has become a place where it is not safe in terms of economy,political,legal and also corruption wise .Anna Hazare movement said enough of corruption and Youth of Delhi said it is enough.Yes India enough is enough.
