Why Rohit Shetty films work?
2018 for bollywood has been very
unbelievable year where Khans films could not create magic and small scale,
unusual subjects and content oriented films were the most successful films.
Films like Andhadhun,Badhaai Ho,Stree had some unique subject and concepts and
interesting picturization.
In this year nobody would have expected Rohit Shetty Simmba an out and out typical bollywood masala commercial film would work. What makes Rohit Shetty unique and his brand of films become successful
1. Understanding audiences:-Rohit
shetty’s way of storytelling is very unique and he knows what will audience
like and dislike. Accordingly scenes are created and there is no film like made
for mass audience and class audience. His films a common man can easily
understand and it is high on entertainment value.
2. Dialogues:-In all his films be
it Golmaal series,Chennai express, Singham and Simmba the dialogues have been very powerful and always strike a chord with audience.
In Golmaal series dialogues of characters always very funny; while in Chennai
express dialogues were full of humour; while in Singham and Simmba it was
powerful and had hitting. According to the need of hour dialogues are written
and there is striking balance between all the type of films be it comedy &
action
3.Action:-We all know Rohit
Shetty style of action is unique ,over the top and entertaining. A critic
criticizes the action sequences say it is over the top and impossible. But
too be fair enough audiences like Rohit Shetty style of action and people enjoy
the scenes will full of fun and frolic.
4.Characterization:-In all Remit’s
films I observe that there are lot of Marathi actors are casted. It is always
ensemble cast been pictured and each character leaves a mark in scenes. I have
seen like actor would be casted in only one scene but he/she will make the
scene impactful, real and leave mark in the movie. This also contributes in the
success of film.
Rohit shetty is now regarded as
one of the successful directors in Bollywood because of his success rate. Almost all of his
films are blockbusters and less flops.
