1.Pepperfry:-Well past 5 to 10 years back nobody would have thought that furniture could be ordered online.Although flipkart and amazon were selling furnitures but I believe there would  be less people who would have bought via flipkart and amazon.Pepperfry’s unique entry into the unorganized has given new option to vendors and customers for their furniture needs.It has lot of offerings in the product portfolio and expects to reach breakeven by 2018-19.Seeing the potential of market similar players like urban ladder,furlenco have also entered into market for getting a pie of market share

2.Big Basket:-If newspaper reports are to be believed then online grocery giant Big basket has already breakeven which means every unit they sold is a profit.Everybody have apprehensions that grocery cannot be ordered online because Indians have tendancy to go to brick and mortar stores then buying online.However the busy city life,traffic conditions do not allow a  household to invest time for their daily urgent needs.Big basket is very popular in big cities .It’s not to say the least Big basket has roped Shahrukh khan as their brand ambassador .Big basket is not only giving tough competitions to their online rival grocery retailers like Grofers,Flipkart & Amazon pantry but also giving tough time to big retailers like Big bazaar,more stores and Reliance mart etc

3.Swiggy:-Swiggy literally means unbelievably legit and awesome.Swiggy the superman styled logo online food delivery app has really cut through the market and created a complete new space for every potential to explore.Food delivery was already popular in rest of world and  also in india via dominos and pizza hut much before.So the idea is not new but way Swiggy has deep dived and brainstormed via partnering with restaurants is really incredible.Food panda the first entrant is almost in dormant mode with not much ads and very less promotion.Seeing the potential in market players like uber eats have also entered into the market .

4.Paytm:-Well the paytm success story is actually great example how quickly one should adapt according to the environment.Rewind back to year of demonitization where there was shortage of currency in India.There were big queues in ATM and shortage of money.Paytm’s unique option of paying money from a small amount to larger amount is highly successful.Now almost every shopkeeper in cities have paytm account and use it for their business transaction.The way paytm has grown from 2016 to till date is at a unbelieveable speed.There were many firsts like concept of cashback,paying via QR code’s,wallet based payment & opening of Paytm savings bank account is absolutely unbelievable.They are adding more and more features into the app and increasing worth of brand.Paytm also has become sponsor for all the BCCI Indian cricket tournaments.

5.Ola :-Bangalore based transportation network;India’s answer to Uber.Ola cabs has been highly successful.The range of offerings like Ola auto,ola prime and Ola rentals are some new additions.Altough there were reports that Ola was running loss and plan to merge with Uber but I believe the problem has soughted out and they are running in profits.
