India's sophisticated Projects executed till date

India is facing lot of internal problems such as corruption, inflation, unstoppable petrol price which is on rise.This problems as far as my knowledge is concern is due to one single cause lead to one point that is inefficient way to manage project management specifically no planning at all.

Why cannot our government predict crisis before hand ?Why cannot we stop scams?Why we are not able to face problems?Why we are not able to stop terror strikes ?Why we are not proactive?

We always react to situations rather than pro-act.Does it mean that India does not have efficient project managers?Well we will be astonished that the answer is no.Indians are placed in responsible companies in reputed companies of world.Take a look at board of directors of various companies we have atleast one Indian.When world is respecting us & admiring us then why are we not having enough confidence in ourselves.
When confidence+ commitment concatenate we get value of product /service offered.Let me throw light on some sophisticated projects that India has executed since independence.

1.Indira Gandhi:-Indira Gandhi was one of great visionary in our countries ever produced.She had an idea to launch color tv all over India with Doordarshan as only tv channel .This was in year 1983.She had set up 500 weeks as duration to launch transmitter all over India.She was successful in executing because of her effective planning and way to manage & execute projects


2.Bangalore:-We will be wondering why Bangalore.It is only city till date to have international greenfield sector private airport,the longest elevated highway connecting from silkboard to electronic city & underground metro rail in Bangalore.This is unique in one sense.The Bangalore international airport is situated in outskirts of Bangalore of nearly 4000 acres & it served 93million passengers in 2009.The way the project was executed and its success lies in some hundreds of workers who worked with commitment,dedication and most important effective planning.All 3 projects which were completed are able to satisfy stakeholders .What else do we need

3.Nano:-A unique indian car.It is perfect example of transforming dream into reality.This car shut the mouth of big car makers and made them think on their strategy and design.Common man car took nearly 6 years to think,design,engineer and put dreams into reality.

4.Bandra-Worli sea link:- The Bandra–Worli Sea Link (BWSL) , is a cable-stayed bridge with pre-stressed concrete-steel viaducts on either side, that links Bandra and the western suburbs of Mumbai with Worli. The bridge is a part of the proposed West Island Freeway system that links the western suburbs to Nariman Point in Mumbai's main business district.This link long drives more memorable and craziers. Bandra and Worli is able to reduce drive from 45–60 minutes during peak hours to 7 minutes.That’s what is creating stakeholder value .

5.Chandrayaan:-Well we should think out of box ,Chandrayaan is classic example of this concept. Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee announced the project on course in his Independence Day speech on 15 August 2003. The mission was a major boost to India's space program, as India researched and developed its own technology in order to explore the Moon. The vehicle was successfully inserted into lunar orbit on 8 November 2008. The estimated cost for the project was 3.86 billion Indian rupees (US$90 million).Many countries appreciated this project and congraluted us on this achievements.

So the point is not to complain but to be satisfied,not to criticize instead thank,to plan and not to be hasty,to be confident not to loose it.When we think like this we will be executing more difficult projects,in lesser time with superior quality without overshooting budget.
