Attention to detail:-Auditee generally tries to give lengthy and detailed answers for a particular question So a good auditor is one who pays attention to detail and is able to filter out what is required for him. Attention to detail trait will actually help in judging the product/service and asking next possible question required.
3. Open Minded:-It is very important for the Auditor to be open minded. There should be no pre conceived notion, assumptions present in the mind. Person should be clear in mind in order to take a correct decision
4.Good listener:-Auditor’s most important trait is that person should be a good listener. He/She should have ability to listen, patience to listen so that he gets a clear picture of the product and would be able to conduct the audit in a better manner
5.Asking questions on the current phase:-It is very important for auditor to ask questions on the current phase of development. Ex if the product is in maintenance phase auditor has to ask questions related to maintenance phase and upcoming phases rather than stressing on production/development phases. This will help in healthy conversation and auditee will also be interested to hear out what auditor says
6.Self centred:-Auditor should never be self centred.He should be courteous,kind hearted and friendly with Auditee. The person should be empathetic rather than sympathetic
