Tubelight is Dim

Its Eid time and yet again Salman khan has decided to release his movie “Tubelight”.Tubelight had created lot of expectations and buzz which it had created as it had Bajrangi combo of Salman and Kabir khan. The expectations were sky high on the movie but all the movie buffs will almost be disappointed by seeing this movie.There are reasons and several loopholes in movie which makes it cumbersome

Some of the reasons which makes it dissappointing are:-

1.Direction:-Direction of Kabir khan is not upto mark .Kabir khan lacks detailing in the scenes. The screenplay also seems loosely tied. Direction lacks the emotional connect with the audience which was very essential for the movie. There are some scenes in movie and several loopholes in the screenplay, if corrected and presented movie would have much different. Several war sequences also lacks detailing and it lacks the touch of war sequences of “Kabul express”

2.Salman khan’s acting:-In recent times Salman has really improved his acting .Movies like Sultan,Dabangg and Bajrangi Bhaijaan were really good .His presence entertained the audience very much.In tubelight Salman khan lacks his signature and style which makes the movie really boring.In some cases where Salman use to cry in screen it was so unnatural and unreal ,that it could not connect with audience.Salman plays a mentally challenged person in the movie and clearly he needs to go back to the drawing board and his acting is not at all convincing and not at all appealing in Tube light

3.Dialogues:-Tubelight being an emotional movie .The connect with the audience would have been much better,if it had strong emotional dialogues .Dialogues are very normal and not deep enough to get into the heart of audiences.In some cases and scenes where I felt that dialogues could have made really impact in the story there background music was used which was unnecessary and not at all appealing

4.Too long:-Story lines and screen play are week. The movie spanning around for 136 minutes is like really boring and tiresome journey. Till intermission the movie goes in really good pace and creates a very good plot. Post interval movie becomes a chewing gum where I felt it is getting forcefully dragged and climax was simple and ordinary with no twists.Tubelight being officially remake of American move “Little boy” which itself got negative reviews is something hard to understand. I do not understand why do you spend money on remaking a movie which itself was not successful. Even though remake was made, there were several make-ups and touch ups required to make it watch worthy

5.Salman’s character:-Salman’s character is being bullied and criticized by calling him “Tube light”  and I do not think Bajrangi Director Kabir Khan has done justice to the name by giving Tubelight.Clearly I could not understand why Laxman singh bisht was called Tubelight .I would say it was tedious attempt rather than a convincing one

6.Chinese actors:-Chinese actor Zhu Zhu was roped in for playing female lead but I did not understand why it was required.With the story line I do not think it was not necessary for any Chinese actor to be casted .Even though the Chinese boy almost justified the role but the Chinese actors I felt was not required.

7. Songs and Music:-Songs and music play a key role in Bollywood film industry.What I feel is that music almost sets the tone of the movie.In tubelight leaving the 2 songs i.e Radio and Nach meri jaan ,rest all songs look quite boring and not catchy.It is not the album which audiences will hear or jingle when they come out from theatres.Also background music is also not in sync with movie.There are scenes where background music could have been improved

Tubelight lacks the light which it wanted to convey but it is very dim and will not able to delight the audiences and for salman khan fans it’s not a easy movie to digest
