Frooti’s new ad is a double thumbs up

specific group) to continue or take some new action.This is what Wikipedia
defines a advertisement.This is exactly what Frooti’s new ad has done.Scorching
summer is back and price war has started between Coke and Pepsi.These 2 brands
have almost ignored Frooti.Frooti has always strike chord with its
consumers with its innovative branding at right place and at right time.This time also "Magic of Frooti" campaign it is also no way different.
Frooti
new ad completely stressing high on branding elements.The way the ad is
conceptualized,scripted and showcased is a
perfect example of how ad should be done.The story,lyrics and casting of
both children and adults is actually
superb.Music and jingle compliments to the ad and the situation.One more
important thing is SRK glugging a full bottle of Frooti.That adds
cherry on the cake.SRK glugging is actually a very strong head on answer
to Katrina’s Silce aamasutra.We have
seen that celebrity who are used in ads have so much dialogues and other
elements in ads.I actually feel
that product is not branded but
celebrity himself its branded.This is the first time where Creative Land Asia
and Parle Agro have strike the right chord by giving SRK a very simple dialogue
“What”.The climax of the ad is even mind boggling where Parle Agro has tried to
rebrand from children’s drink to Adult drink.
We have seen that big battle of
bottles is again going to start.Where pepsi has planned nearly 400 cr campaign
in order to regain its lost spot in India.It has targeted IPL and has almost
buyed all possible spots where it can regain its spot.While Coke focuses on
price cut,distribution and celebrity endorsements.But I feel that in this rush
these 2 players have almost isolated Frooti who slowly but strongly trying to
eat market share of Coke and Pepsi.
Well it will be interesting to
see in this scorching heat which brand will be able to quench more thirsts
whether it is Coke,Pepsi or Parle Agro.Who will have the last laugh?
