Neglected 7 sisters
The Constitution declares India to be a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic, assuring its citizens of justice, equality, and liberty.We have documented all these things without knowing the meaning of it. It is sad that we(citizens ) and central government concentrate only on certain parts of country.We have got independence nearly 60 years back but till now we have not given respect to our 7 sisters.Well I was also confused when I heard the word “7 sisters of India”.Well 7 sisters of India are North Eastern part of India. Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, and Nagaland.
Because of our negligence Tensions exist between these states and we are facing consequences.There are so many extremist groups in North east which are against peace and fraternity.They are poisoning the minds and making them millitants.This should not happen .The reasons are:-
1.Most Literate states: These 7 states have understood the importance of language and states like Nagaland & Manipur , have a literacy rate of over 80%.This suggests the awareness among people in North east.There may be existence of militant groups but it is astonishing to know that crime rate in sikkim is very less
2.Passionate:It is said that luxury is the door of laziness.Yes the quotation holds true .The north eastern states are devoid of good infrastructure, less education but that does not keep them down .The people of these states come to East and South India for their education.This shows the passion and commitment which they posess.We should learn from them and appreciate them
3.Scenic beauty:India was known for its natural beauty..For natural beauty we should go to 7 states .There are so many tourist and scenic spots which will blow our eyes and really the view of these places is incredible

4.Sportsstar:Many of the players of Northeast help India to march towards sports super power. In the last National Games that were held in Manipur, the region displayed its sports prowess by winning a record number of medals and Manipur emerging as the best team. Many of the Indian Football clubs have players from Manipur. In Meghalaya Football is quite favourite among the Youths and also they have produced a number of talented football players. They are very good in Boxing. Meghalaya has also produced sportspersons like Lynza Fenny Syiem who have represented India thrice and have won Gold Medals in World Karate Championship.
